The Fuzz-Busters
From the producer of The Spies Who Surf, The Insiders, Material Issue, and Ministry, comes The Fuzz-Busters.
Jay O'Rourke (Guitar) in addition to his role as the master engineer for Alligator Records for many years, Jay has been playing on and producing records since 1981, working with such diverse acts as The Spies Who Surf, Ministry, Liz Phair, and Urge Overkill. He produced, and was a founding member in the roots/rock band The Insiders (Sony/Epic) for most of the late 80's through the mid 90's.
Buddha Silm (Keyboards) has been playing Hammond Organ since he was a child. His touring credits include the Big Guitars from Memphis, Nicholas Tremulis, and in the 80's as part of the post new wave band BB Spin.
Ed Breckenfeld (Drums) is a master drummer with a column in Modern Drummer Magazine. In constant demand, Ed played with such acts as The Insiders, Cathy Richardson, and Jim Peterik to name a few.
Fran Kondorf (Bass) as another seasoned veteran of the music scene, Fran has toured with The Slammin' Watusis (Sony/Epic) and The Country Melvins.
Retro-Sonic Music for the Moderns
Recorded at Jay's home ADT project studio, on a houseboat in Starved Rock, at ACME studios with Mike Zalenko (Material Issue) sitting in on drums, and "live" at the Boulevard Cafe in Chicago were the band has been playing every Tuesday night turning the scene into a who's who of Chicago music.
