Antje (an-cha) is one part singer, one part guitarist, and all parts songwriter. Over the past 10 years, Antje has performed her songs as both a soloist and fronting bands in venues stretching from Chicago to Los Angeles to a tiny village in Greece. Her songs are an ironic blend of sarcasm and optimism.
"(Antje's songs) mine a field midway between classic 70's folkies and their slightly edgier 90's offspring"
- Jim DeRogatis, The Chicago Sun Times.
"(ANTJE is) an impressive Chicago singer, guitarist, and songwriter."
- Rolling Stone

"...many (of the songs) are winning, particularly...the lifting "To Please You" by Antje."
Terrance Flamm - Illinois Entertainer
"...the beautiful ballad "To Please You"...sounds like vintage Kate Bush."
Mark Guarino - Daily Herald
"...(Antje's) armed with the heroine humor of like-minded underdogs Amy Rigby and Aimee Mann, twisting knives into ex-lovers with good charm and dry wit."
